RMS is looking for qualified, experienced CNC and Manual Machine Tool Technicians:

Please read carefully the qualifications to perform this job:

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:  This candidate must have the following requirements:

  • AT LEAST  3 to 5 years experience in the installation, troubleshooting and repair of manual and
    CNC machine tools.

  •  IF in addition the candidate has an Associates Degree in Electrical or Electrical/Mechanical    
    Technology that would be a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this position:

             
  • Installation, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electronic, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic
    systems of various machine tools.

  • The candidate must demonstrate and instruct techniques, methods and procedures for machine tool
    equipment and related attachments and accessories.                      

  • The candidate will travel in a 60 mile radius to service our customer accounts.

  • Accurate record keeping and enforcement of the Company policies and procedures will be required.

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL ABILITIES:

  • The candidate must have a thorough knowledge of all mechanical, drive, power, electronics,
    electrical, hydraulic, Fanuc computer numerical controls and other machine systems necessary
    to diagnose and correct malfunctions at the customer's site.

  • The candidate must have knowledge in machine tool applications, turnkey, and tooling.  Processes
    and programming knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • We require the candidate to have good communication skills.  This is necessary to insure that the
    Field Service Technician and the customer have the clear understanding of the requirements to
    repair, update and maintain the machine tool.

  • As the candidate is a representative of the Company professionalism is paramount.

  • We require the following:     A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH A CLEAN   DRIVING RECORD.
